Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP program. You will coordinate and deliver clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, including assessment, planning, and evaluation, under supervision with potential delegation to other care staff.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease health care team, you will participate in decision-making, teaching, and quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate patient care during hemodialysis.
• Document data and adjust treatment plans per protocol.
• Educate patients and families on care and procedures.
• Provide safe, effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy.
• Administer prescribed medications and document justification.
• Assist with emergency response measures and staff training.
