Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification current or in process.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients during hemodialysis.
• Document patient data and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatment options.
• Deliver safe, effective hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the health care team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effectiveness.
• Lead or support with staff training and orientation as assigned.
