Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 track as part of the Clinical Advancement Program. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering high-quality care for patients with end-stage kidney disease in an outpatient setting.

The RN CAP 1 is responsible for assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, with opportunities to lead, teach and participate in quality improvement activities within the facility.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group.
• Documents data collection and nursing assessments in the medical record and updates the plan of care.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and treatment options within the dialysis setting.
• Administers medications as prescribed and follows approved protocols.
• Assists with emergency responses and participates in team training and orientation.
