Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program in Ohio. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, assess patients, plan interventions, and participate in quality improvement activities as part of the ESKD care team.

Requires RN licensure, CPR/BLS, and nephrology experience; CAP progression will be supported through education and teamwork in a hospital-like outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• RN with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing is entry level for CAP 1.
• Must have a minimum of 9 months RN experience.
• Minimum 3 months in chronic/acute hemodialysis as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and adjust the treatment plan as indicated.
• Educate patients and families about care and treatment options.
• Deliver safe, effective hemodialysis therapy with team collaboration.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Assist with emergency response measures and staff training.
