Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Sharonville, OH, seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 program. This role provides and coordinates clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis.

You will collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and patient care technicians, participate in teaching and quality improvement activities, and CAP requirements must be completed to advance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential functions under supervision with guidance from Clinical Educator, Preceptor, or RN team.
• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and document in medical records.
• Educate patients and families about learning needs.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy with the care team.
• Administer medications per protocol and document effectiveness.
• Assist with emergency response measures as needed.
• Support staff training and orientation of new employees.
