Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse (CAP 1) for the Outpatient program to provide and coordinate clinically competent care for patients undergoing hemodialysis.

You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care, and educate patients and families as part of the End Stage Kidney Disease team. This role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group.
• Document data collection and adjustments to the treatment plan.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and therapies.
• Administer medications as prescribed per protocols.
• Participate in emergency response measures.
• Assist with lab collection and processing as required.
• Support quality improvement and patient care outcomes.
