Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will contribute to the provision and coordination of clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, under supervision and guidance from experienced staff.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease health care team, you will participate in decision-making, education, leadership functions, and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• RN license in state required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential functions under supervision from Clinical Educator or RN team.
• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and document in medical record.
• Educate patients and family on care plan and disease management.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy with team collaboration.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Initiate emergency response measures as needed.
• Assist with staff training and orientation as assigned.
• Ensure proper lab collection, processing, and shipping.

Entry level RN (≤2 years nephrology)

Education

Graduate of accredited School of Nursing

Current state RN licensure

CPR/BLS Certification
