Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient Clinical Advancement Program (CAP 1). This role provides and coordinates clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

You will collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians, participate in education, leadership, and quality improvement, and ensure safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure required.
• CPR BLS certification current or will be completed.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.
• Entry-level RN with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and document in records.
• Coordinate care and adjust plans with the team as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments.
• Administer prescribed medications and document effectiveness.
• Assist with emergency responses and staff training.
