Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 designation to join the End Stage Kidney Disease care team. The role provides and coordinates clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.

As part of the health care team, you will mentor and work with RN, LVN/LPN, and Patient Care Technicians, participate in education, and contribute to quality improvement and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to direct care staff.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Perform ongoing patient data collection and documentation in medical records.
• Assist with emergency response measures as needed.
• Participate in staff training, orientation, and quality improvement activities.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current appropriate state licensure

CPR BLS Certification

Must meet practice requirements in the state employed
