Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level registered nurse to join the Outpatient CAP 1 program. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for an assigned patient group, under supervision.

Responsibilities include data collection during hemodialysis, patient and family education, safe dialysis delivery, and medication administration per protocol. This role supports quality improvement within the unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential functions under supervision with guidance from the Clinical Educator or Nurse in Charge.
• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and document in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment options.
• Direct and provide safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy with the team.
• Administer medications as prescribed or per approved algorithms and document effectiveness.
