Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis sessions.
• Document assessments, plan of care and interventions.
• Provide initial and ongoing patient education and family education.
• Administer medications per approved protocols and document justification.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe hemodialysis delivery.
• Monitor and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Support staff training and orientation as assigned.
• Ensure proper lab specimen collection and handling.
