Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and adjust care plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and self-care.
• Lead and mentor staff, coordinating care with RNs, LVN/LPNs and technicians.
• Administer prescribed medications and document effectiveness.
• Respond to emergencies and escalate to supervisor/physician as needed.
• Ensure lab collections and processing are correct.
• Support CAP requirements and participate in quality improvement.
