Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Indiana is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). The CAP1 designation supports growth while delivering high-quality hemodialysis care to patients under supervision.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, you will assess patients, plan and document care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with nurses, technicians and physicians to ensure safe treatment delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state.

Responsibilities

• Performs all essential functions under supervision and with guidance from the Clinical Educator and team.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during hemodialysis and documents in the medical record.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and treatment.
• Delivers safe and effective hemodialysis therapy to assigned patients.
• Administers medications as prescribed or via approved algorithms.
