Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Decatur, GA is hiring an Outpatient Registered Nurse (CAP 1) to join the End Stage Kidney Disease care team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during hemodialysis, under supervision, and may supervise other staff.

The role requires a nursing degree, current state RN license, CPR/BLS, and at least 9 months RN experience with at least 3 months in hemodialysis. CAP advancement is expected and disease education will be provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state nursing license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 9 months RN experience.
• Minimum 3 months dialysis nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient course during dialysis.
• Coordinate care with the End Stage Kidney Disease team.
• Administer prescribed medications per protocol.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options.
• Lead and train staff as assigned.
