Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care is seeking an entry‑level professional registered nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 role. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of dialysis patients, including planning, intervention, and evaluation, with delegation as needed to staff.

The role involves education of patients and families, collaboration with interdisciplinary team, and participation in quality improvement activities to enhance outcomes and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing data collection and analysis of patient data pre‑, during‑, and post‑hemodialysis; adjust care plan as indicated.
• Educate patients and families on learning needs and treatment options.
• Direct and provide safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with care staff.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Initiate emergency responses and participate in staff training and orientation.
