Job summary

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.
• Ability to coordinate care within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data pre-, during-, and post-hemodialysis; document in medical record.
• Adjust treatment plan as indicated; notify supervisor or physician as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment options.
• Deliver safe, effective hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with care team.
• Administer medications per approved protocols; document effectiveness.
