Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 track within the Clinical Advancement Program. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties with supervision and guidance as an entry RN.
• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and document in medical records.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and learning needs.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with care staff.
• Administer prescribed medications and document effectiveness.
• Assist in emergency responses and support staff training.
• Ensure proper laboratory collection and processing; reschedule missed labs.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to update care plans and outcomes.
• Discuss transplant and treatment modality options with patients.
