Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care is seeking an Outpatient RN CAP 2 to provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis. The role involves assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation under supervision within the ESKD care team.

Entry level for RN CAP 2 with CAP requirements; will lead and mentor, and may supervise Patient Care Technicians as needed, with potential to advance through the Clinical Advancement Program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients undergoing hemodialysis.
• Coordinate care with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians.
• Administer medications as prescribed or in accordance with approved algorithms.
