Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Outpatient RN CAP 2 to provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients in an outpatient setting. The role includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, with potential delegation to RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians.

The RN CAP 2 may be entry level through CAP 2 criteria or advanced from CAP 1, and will participate in teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities within the End Stage Kidney

Qualifications

• RN CAP 2 eligibility or advancement from RN CAP 1.
• Minimum of 2 years nephrology nursing experience.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.
• Deliver hemodialysis therapy safely in collaboration with care staff.
• Educate patients and families; participate in quality improvement activities and education projects.
