Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Outpatient RN CAP 2 to join our ESKD care team. The role provides and coordinates clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned patient group.

Entry-level CAP2 for new employees or advancement from RN CAP1, with supervision by team leaders. The position involves leading education, collaboration with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians, and potential travel to training sites.

Qualifications

• Entry-level RN eligible for CAP 2 with nephrology experience.
• Must hold an RN license valid in the state.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients.
• Document data collection and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about learning needs.
• Lead and mentor staff as Team Leader or Nurse in Charge.
• Administer medications per protocol.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
