Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Outpatient RN CAP 2 to join our nephrology care team. This entry-level CAP2 role supports the Clinical Advancement Program, assesses patients, plans and implements dialysis care, and coordinates with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and technicians.

You will work with the End Stage Kidney Disease team to lead education, contribute to quality improvement, and mentor newer staff as needed. Fresenius Kidney Care offers comprehensive benefits and room to grow.

Qualifications

• RN with nephrology nursing experience.
• Entry level RN CAP 2 for CAP program.
• Ability to coordinate patient care with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties under supervision and with guidance from educators or RNs.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during hemodialysis and documents in the medical record.
• Educates patients and families about learning needs and care plans.
• Delivers safe and effective hemodialysis therapy with the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and documents effectiveness.
