Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Louisville, KY is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient RN CAP 1 program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, under supervision, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease team, you will participate in teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities while advancing CAP requirements for career growth.

Qualifications

• RN with entry-level experience or familiarity with nephrology nursing.
• Knowledge of hemodialysis processes is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certified and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data before, during, and after hemodialysis.
• Document care plans, adjust treatments with supervision, and notify physicians as needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans.
• Provide safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy and participate in team training.
