Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 designation. The role focuses on assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, with opportunities to delegate tasks to care staff as appropriate.

The position participates in decision-making, teaching and quality improvement within the ESKD care team, and supports ongoing CAP requirements to advance within the program.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with nephrology/hemodialysis exposure preferred.
• RN with minimum 9 months experience as an RN.
• Minimum 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for dialysis patients.
• Administer medications per prescriptions and document effects.
• Collaborate with the care team for patient education and safety.
• Ensure accurate lab collections and report results.
• Assist with emergency response and staff training.
