Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an Office Assistant for an outpatient clinic on a full-time basis. You will greet patients, check them in/out, route to departments, and maintain a welcoming front desk.

The role requires an AA degree (Bachelor's preferred) and at least three years in a health care setting. You will handle calls, manage supplies, support appointment reminders, ensure HIPAA compliance, and contribute to a well-organized office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least three years of experience in a health care setting, preferably in an outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check them in/out, and direct them to appropriate departments or waiting areas.
• Accept inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas.
• Monitor and replenish office supplies and medical forms, coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment.
• Assist in communicating appointment reminders, test results, and other pertinent information to patients.
• Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA) in all administrative activities.
