Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Office Assistant for its outpatient clinic. You will greet patients, check them in/out, schedule appointments, and support staff with daily operations.

The role requires an AA (Bachelor's preferred) and at least three years in healthcare, preferably outpatient clinics. Excellent base pay with productivity and performance bonuses, full benefits, and four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• AA required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least three years of experience in a health care setting, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check them in/out, and direct them to appropriate departments or waiting areas
• Accepting inbound calls and making outbound calls to patients
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas
• Monitor and replenish office supplies and medical forms, coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment
• Assist in communicating appointment reminders, test results, and other pertinent information to patients
• Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA) in all administrative activities
