Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Forklift Operator to operate a forklift in a rugged 50+ acre outdoor environment within a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The role requires lifting, loading/unloading, and accurate documentation of shipments and inventory.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of forklift experience (5,000 lb), pass internal certification, and read/write English. The position offers comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay in a non-climate-controlled outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience operating 5,000 lb forklift in an outdoor yard environment.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to pass internal Forklift Certification Training and safety procedures.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 65 lbs. and exposure to dusty, hot or cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment.
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load product onto and unload product from flatbeds and box trailers.
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation by auditing, recording and interpreting shipping documentation.
