Job summary

GardenCore is hiring a Forklift Operator to operate a 5,000 lb forklift in a rugged 50+ acre outdoor environment, in both paved and unpaved areas of a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, yard organization, and accurate handling of shipping documents. Applicants need 2+ years of forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and must pass internal forklift certification.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience operating a 5,000 lb forklift in an outdoor yard environment.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Must pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 65 lbs., standing, walking, bending, and exposure to dusty/hot/cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift equipment including stretch wrap machines, roll up-enders, and extended boom arms.
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load and unload products from flatbeds and trailers.
• Audit and interpret shipping documents, weights, measures, and production schedules.
• Other duties as assigned as needed.
