Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Forklift Operator to work in a rugged 50+ acre outdoor manufacturing environment. The role requires operating a forklift in paved and unpaved areas with safety as a priority.

You will load and unload from flatbeds, organize the yard inventory, and verify packing slips and shipping tickets. Applicants should have 2+ years of forklift experience and be able to pass internal Certification Training. The position offers competitive pay, a 401(k) plan, and health benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience operating a 5,000 lb forklift in outdoor yard environments.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Must complete internal forklift certification training and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment.
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load/product onto and unload from flatbeds and box trailers.
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation by auditing, recording and interpreting shipping documentation, weights & measures, labels and production schedules.
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
