Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Forklift Operator to work in a rugged 50+ acre outdoor environment. You will operate a 5,000 lb forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, load and unload on flatbeds and trailers, and verify shipping documents.

The role requires at least 2 years of forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass internal certification. Candidates must lift up to 65 lbs and perform in dusty or extreme conditions; competitive benefits and paid time off are

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience operating a 5,000 lb forklift in an outdoor yard.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to perform routine inspection, fueling & preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Interface with transportation, dispatch & trailer hitch operations.
• Pass internal Forklift Certification Training and safety procedures.
• Physical ability to lift up to 65 lbs and work in extreme conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom forklift equipment.
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load product onto and unload from flatbeds and trailers.
• Audit shipping documents, weights/measures, labels and production schedules.
• Other duties related to the job as needed.
