Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Forklift Operator to work in a rugged 50+ acre outdoor environment, operating a forklift in both paved and unpaved areas. The position requires coordinating inventory, loading and unloading on and off trailers, and maintaining safety standards.

The role demands at least 2 years of experience operating 5,000 lb forklifts outdoors, plus the ability to read and write in English and to pass internal forklift certification training.

Qualifications

• Requires forklift operation in outdoor yard setting.
• Must read/write English.
• Able to pass forklift certification training and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures
• Safely load product onto and unload product from flatbeds and box trailers
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation by auditing, recording and interpreting shipping documentation, weights & measures, labels and production schedules
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
