Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Forklift Operator to operate a 5,000 lb forklift in a rugged, outdoor yard and manufacturing environment. The role requires stamina to work in fast-paced conditions and the ability to safely load and unload on flatbeds and trailers.

Responsibilities include organizing inventory, auditing shipping documents, and adhering to safety procedures. A minimum of 2 years forklift experience and a high school diploma or GED are required; forklift certification training will be

Qualifications

At least 2 years’ experience operating a 5,000 lb forklift in an outdoor yard environment.
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education/experience.
Ability to pass forklift certification training and follow safety procedures.
Ability to read and write in English; basic math and comprehension for shipping tasks.
Work in dusty, hot/cold outdoor conditions and extreme weather.

Responsibilities

Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom forklift equipment.
Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
Safely load/unload product from flatbeds and box trailers.
Audit and interpret shipping documents, weights, measures, labels, and schedules.
Perform related duties as needed.
