Job summary

ArborMetrics (AMS) is seeking a Work Planner to join our vegetation management team. This role is outdoors, requiring independent work, and emphasizes safety, data collection, and client interaction across utility corridors.

You will drive to sites, document vegetation, and support field crews with GIS data. You will maintain communications with leadership, auditors, clients, contractors, and the public, ensuring quality service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GIS software/technology and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to hike/ WALK Right-of-Ways (ROW) and drive long periods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive to work sites and hike rights-of-way (up to 10 miles/day).
• Inspect and document vegetation work at customer properties.
• Record vegetation data using tablets and specialized software.
• Use forestry computer systems for data entry and tracking.
• Address customer concerns and maintain positive relations.
