ArborMetrics (AMS) is seeking a Work Planner/Consulting Forester to lead vegetation management efforts in outdoor field environments. The role emphasizes independent work, safety, and delivering high-value service to utility clients across various terrains.

You will drive to work sites, document vegetation conditions, input data into GIS and forestry software, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant operations while advancing AMS safety culture and client satisfaction.

Competenze

• Knowledge of tree species identification, hazard tree assessment, invasive species management, and understanding of tree growth patterns.
• Experience with GIS software/technology as well as Microsoft Suite and an iPhone.

Mansioni

• Identify and report safety hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions.
• Inspect and document vegetation work (pruning/removal) at customer properties.
• Record vegetation data using tablets and specialized software.
• Use forestry computer systems for data entry and tracking.
