Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions seeks a Consulting Utility Forester to work outdoors, patrol energy corridors, and classify vegetation for pruning or removal. The role requires strong field skills, GIS capability, and a valid driver’s license.

Compensation includes an hourly pay range, company vehicle, benefits, holidays, 401(k) eligibility after 3 months, and ongoing training to obtain industry certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in forestry, natural resources, or related discipline or equivalent work experience (education may be required dependent on client contract)
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture or tree-related green industry preferred.
• Knowledge or practical experience in tree identification

Responsibilities

• Pre-Patrol Preparation: Organize records, maps, and paperwork for patrol circuits; maintain accurate documentation.
• Field Patrol Duties: Safely patrol energy corridors on foot, identifying vegetation for pruning, removal, or protection per Client standards.
• Landowner & Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate work plans to property owners, agencies, and organizations.
• Coordination & Safety: Follow all safety protocols and operate vehicles safely.
• Additional Responsibilities: Participate in storm and emergency response as needed.
