Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions seeks a Consulting Utility Forester to join a field-driven team in vegetation management. You will safely patrol energy corridors, assess vegetation, and coordinate with landowners and agencies to obtain permissions for scheduled work.

The role emphasizes independence, adherence to safety practices, and the use of GIS tools. A company vehicle, comprehensive benefits Day 1, and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in forestry, natural resources, or related discipline or equivalent work experience (education may be required dependent on client contract).
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture or tree-related green industry preferred.
• Knowledge of tree identification and GIS software/technology.
• Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Organize records, maps, and paperwork for patrol circuits; maintain accurate documentation.
• Field patrols to identify vegetation for pruning, removal, or protection per Client standards.
• Conduct Tree Risk Assessments and analyze growth rates.
• Mark vegetation and prescribe clearance actions per Client directives and ANSI guidelines.
• Coordinate with landowners and agencies to obtain permissions.
