ArborMetrics Solutions is seeking a Contract Forester/Utility Forester to work in our team, primarily outdoors, with Independent work style and client-facing responsibilities. You will assess vegetation in energy corridors, perform pruning and clearance tasks, and support safety and compliance standards.

The role offers a competitive hourly pay, a company vehicle with a fuel card for work, and access to ongoing training and industry certifications. Prior utility vegetation experience is valued.

Competenze

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in forestry, natural resources, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture or tree-related green industry preferred.
• Knowledge of tree identification.
• Knowledge of common computer applications and ability to learn new programs.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Experience in electric utility vegetation management in the field.
• Experience with GIS software/technology, Microsoft Suite and iPhone.

Mansioni

• Patrol energy corridors on foot, identifying vegetation for pruning, removal, or protection per Client standards.
• Classify prescribed work and apply ISA pruning techniques and ANSI line clearance standards.
• Conduct Tree Risk Assessments and analyze growth rates.
• Mark vegetation and prescribe clearance actions per Client directives.
• Coordinate with property owners, agencies, and contractors.
• Participate in storm and emergency response as needed.
• Audit contractor work for compliance with Client specifications.
• Investigate tree-related outages and document findings.
