Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to join our vegetation management team. You will conduct field patrols along energy corridors, assess tree risk, and apply ISA pruning techniques according to client standards.

You’ll engage landowners and agencies, document findings, and support safety and compliance efforts in outdoor settings. Ideal candidates have forestry or natural resources background, GIS experience, strong communication, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in forestry, natural resources, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture or tree-related industry preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Patrol Preparation: organize records, maps, and paperwork for patrol circuits and maintain documentation.
• Field Patrol Duties: safely patrol energy corridors, identify vegetation for pruning/removal, apply herbicide as needed.
• Landowner & Stakeholder Engagement: obtain permissions and communicate work plans to owners and agencies.
• Vegetation Management & Compliance: recommend sustainable strategies and audit contractor work.
• Coordination & Safety: coordinate non-routine work, report hazards, follow safety protocols.
• Additional Responsibilities: participate in storm response and other duties as assigned.
