ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to perform field patrols along energy corridors and engage with landowners and agencies. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and applying ISA pruning techniques and ANSI line clearance standards in vegetation management.

The position requires a forestry or natural resources background, GIS proficiency, and the ability to work independently outdoors under various conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in forestry, natural resources, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture or tree-related green industry preferred.
• Knowledge of tree identification.
• Knowledge of common computer applications and ability to learn new programs.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Experience with GIS software/technology as well as Microsoft Suite and an iPhone.
• Must be able to work alone, outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strong problem solving and multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Organize and document patrol records, maps, and paperwork.
• Review sites for endangered species, habitats, and vegetation concerns.
• Patrol energy corridors, identify vegetation for pruning/removal/protection per client standards.
• Classify work per field conditions and ANSI/ISA guidelines.
• Conduct Tree Risk Assessments and analyze growth rates.
• Communicate work plans to landowners, agencies, and organizations.
