Job summary

Direct Sales Recruiting, LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to cover the Middle & Eastern Tennessee territory. The role targets schools, parks and recreation departments, construction firms, and architects with a proactive hunter approach and strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, delivering customized presentations, and managing the full sales cycle while collaborating with internal teams to ensure project execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, though not required.
• Minimum of 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
• Experience selling to schools, government entities (parks and recreation departments), construction firms, and/or architects.
• Open to candidates with Parks & Recreation background
• Knowledge/understanding of construction plans/drawings a plus
• Proven track record in both new business development and relationship-based account management.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to confidently address both small and large groups.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong time management abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Base Salary + Commissions = Year 1 $100,000

• Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, and market dynamics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions and ensure project execution.
