Job summary

Sun Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain a clean and inviting community environment. You will perform lawn care, irrigation inspections, pool maintenance where applicable, and assist with general repairs.

The role requires teamwork, independence, and adherence to safety procedures. The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma or GED, has basic computer/email proficiency, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• 6 months groundskeeping experience in the apartment or manufactured housing industry (Preferred)
• 6 months knowledge/experience in general grounds maintenance techniques (Required)
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures

Responsibilities

• Maintains community presentability and adheres to curb appeal standards.
• Maintains community vehicle and equipment.
• Picks up trash/debris from common areas and empties trash containers daily.
• Inspects irrigation system and repairs as needed.
• Performs lawn care: weed control, mulching, planting, trimming shrubs and trees.
• Maintains pool(s) by testing chemical levels where applicable.
• Follows safety procedures and reports issues to the manager.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
