Job summary

Sun Communities is hiring groundskeepers to maintain community grounds, mow lawns, weed beds, plant flowers, and assist with pool care where applicable. You will also perform routine equipment maintenance and debris removal to keep spaces visually appealing.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures. On-call availability and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months groundskeeping experience preferred.
• 6 months knowledge of general grounds maintenance techniques required.
• Must endure outdoor temperatures and weather.
• Able to respond after hours and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community curb appeal and cleanliness.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment.
• Collect trash in common areas daily.
• Inspect irrigation and perform repairs as needed.
• Perform lawn care: weed, mulch, trim shrubs, plant flowers.
• Assist with pool maintenance if applicable.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
• Report maintenance issues to the manager.
• Handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
