Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Forklift Operator to work in a rugged 50+ acre outdoor environment, handling 5,000 lb forklifts in both paved and unpaved areas. The role supports a fast-paced manufacturing facility with duties across loading, unloading, and yard organization.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, auditing shipping docs, and maintaining safe procedures. The position requires English literacy and a minimum of two years’ forklift experience in outdoor settings.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience operating 5,000 lb forklift in an outdoor yard environment.
• Ability to perform routine inspection, fueling and preventive maintenance duties.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment.
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load product onto and unload product from flatbeds and box trailers.
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation by auditing, recording and interpreting shipping documentation.
