Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Forklift Operator to work in a rugged 50+ acre outdoor facility, both paved and unpaved. The role requires operating a forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and to perform routine inspection and maintenance tasks.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of experience with 5,000 lb forklifts, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read and write in English. Training and safety procedures are provided.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of experience operating a 5,000 lb forklift in outdoor yard environments.
• Must read and write in English to interface with transportation, dispatch, and loading operations.
• Must successfully pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines and various forklift equipment.
• Organize product on yard per inventory procedures.
• Safely load/unload product from flatbeds and trailers.
• Audit and interpret shipping documents, weights, measures, and production schedules.
