Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services is seeking Field Data Technicians to collect detailed data on electric utility and telecom facilities. The role involves hiking between spans, operating data collection tools, and supporting fiber optic construction projects.

Training is provided, with routine overnight travel and frequent weekend home time. High school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for technical background.

• Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to travel and work outdoors in various conditions.
• Independent work style with attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Work in outdoor environments to collect field data for fiber optic facilities.
• Submit organized data including maps, field notes, and images.
• Operate and maintain equipment (tablet, camera, measuring tools, PPE).
• Represent Osmose professionally in the field and with customers.
• Communicate daily with project management team.
• Work safely and independently with minimal supervision.
