The position includes routine overnight travel, potential week-long assignments, and a starting wage of $24.50 per hour with opportunities for bonuses and stipends for living and travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical background preferred.
• Basic knowledge of telecommunications is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 1–2 weeks at a time and overnight stays.
• Ability to read GPS maps and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Collect field data outdoors to support fiber optic projects.
• Submit organized data including maps, notes, and images.
• Operate and maintain field equipment such as tablet and camera.
• Communicate with project management daily.
• Work safely and independently in the field.
