Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. is seeking Field Data Technicians to collect detailed data on electric utility and telecom facilities in outdoor environments. You will hike between pole spans to support outside plant engineering and fiber-optic projects.

Osmose will train the ideal candidate and expects travel 1–2 weeks at a time, with weekends home when possible. The position starts at $24.50/hour with potential hourly bonuses, weekly pay, hotel accommodations, living allowances and vehicle

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with computers and GPS/maps.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Ability to travel and stay away from home for extended periods.
• Reliability and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Collect field data for utility and telecom facilities.
• Submit organized data, maps, notes and images for projects.
• Operate and maintain field equipment.
• Represent Osmose professionally in the field.
• Communicate daily with project management team.
• Work safely and independently in outdoor environments.
