Job summary

The Town of Sharon seeks a full-time Equipment Operator for the Department of Public Works’ Forestry & Grounds Division. As an Equipment Operator you will operate machinery, perform landscaping and grounds maintenance across parks, trees and athletic fields, and support snow removal operations in winter.

This role requires a High School Diploma, a MA Class B CDL, and pass CORI drug testing upon hire. Starting salary ranges from $55,048 to $56,178 with benefits; the salary can extend to $68,395

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Massachusetts Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• CORI check and mandatory drug testing upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Manual labor and operation of equipment for parks, trees, athletic fields, and grounds maintenance.
• Overtime required during snow removal from roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks.
