Under Canvas Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences at a remote camp location.

You will be the operations expert, coordinating front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, and food & beverage while communicating goals and expectations to the team. This role requires travel to other camps, strong leadership, and a focus on staff development and service excellence.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1 year of management experience or 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Desire for growth in the organization and ability to travel to various camp locations.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and problem-solving ability.

Responsabilidades

• Cross trained in each property department and travel for task force work if needed.
• Communicate goals and expectations to the team and supervise operations.
• Attend interviews, assist in hiring decisions, and support staffing with GM and HR.
• Oversee housing, payroll approvals, and timecard adjustments.
• Monitor customer feedback and drive continuous improvement through SOPs.
• Collaborate with camp management and corporate team on initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, inventory, and monthly/ yearly financial reviews.
• Create positive work environment and develop team members.
