Job summary

Under Canvas Inc. seeks an Operations Supervisor to partner with the GM/AGM and oversee camp guest experiences while coordinating with front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, and F&B teams.

This role directly supervises the Camp Concierge, Guest Experience Coordinator, and Housekeeping teams and communicates goals to staff. The position is seasonal and non-exempt, requiring leadership, quick thinking, and a focus on guest satisfaction in an outdoor camp setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role, preferably in hospitality.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Commitment to delivering high quality customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Learn, embrace, and train team on company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Cross trained in multiple property departments.
• Respond quickly to changing situations on property.
• Deliver clear expectations to the team in all operational areas.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

• Support guest and team member issues promptly and efficiently.

• Observe and address corrective actions with staff.

• Run the camp and operate with minimal oversight.
• Streamline processes to maximize efficiency and resource use.
• Build relationships with local businesses and communities.
• Support development of team recognition programs.
• Monitor and report on guest feedback and NPS action plans.
• Oversee financial performance related to camp operations.
• Collaborate with camp management and corporate team.
