The role reports to the Outbound Operations Manager and emphasizes high standards of operational execution, cost control, and strong leadership across the distribution center.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a distribution center or similar environment.
• Safety-focused with ability to follow protocols.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise outbound operations by instructing staff on how to perform work and monitor progress.
• Design and maintain truck yard organization, loading procedures and safety practices.
• Ensure adherence to security and safety rules for a safe work environment.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements.
• Mentor warehouse associates and plan hours for peak periods.
• Resolve shipping errors with the team to prevent recurrence.
• Reconcile nightly truck loads to ensure accurate loading.
• Ensure compliance with supplier guidelines for returns.
